I am now seeing a giant scroll bar at the bottom of my home page and the menu is all the way to the right of that scroll bar!

This is a test site http://fscbmwcca.com/fsc45/ and what the site is supposed to look like. The site was automatically updated to WordPress 4.7.1 on Jan 13, not sure why. The test site was not updated.

    Hi @fscbmwcca

It looks like something is forcing the minimum width of the page. Can you please give us permission to disable the plugins to check on this further?

Also pages with Post Masonry Grid are all messed up, for example, http://fscbmwcca.com/informed/ this is what it should like like (my test site http://fscbmwcca.com/fsc45/informed/)

    Hi @fscbmwcca

I have disabled the plugins except Visual Composer and the giant scroll bar disappeared..

Kindly deactivate the plugins again and slow reactivating them one by one to easily identify which of those plugins is causing the issue.

    Did you check Rev Slider?

Even with all the plugins disabled it’s not working right. These were take with only WPBakery Visual Composer activated. Same thing with WPBakery Visual Composer and Titan Framework Activated.

These are screen shots of the home page, scroll down, you’ll see the post grid just repeats the image
    https://postimg.org/gallery/2lxt4jlsu/
    Home (incorrect)
Home FSC45 (how it’s supposed to look like)

Other pages pages using the Post Masonry Grid are all messed up, for example, http://fscbmwcca.com/informed/ this is what it should like like (my test site http://fscbmwcca.com/fsc45/informed/)
Note that the links don’t work and that they use user-defined Grid Builder from Visual Composer.

Scroll down further on the home page and you’ll see that in the Your Team section the images don’t show and displays the following shortcode:
    c_single_image image=”4632″ img_size=”150×150″ alignment=”center” style=”vc_box_shadow_circle”]

Also not that once I activate Rev Slider the images are not full screen, you can see the sides of the next image, you can see how it’s supposed to look on http://fscbmwcca.com/fsc45/

    It’s a complete mess…

Update, sorry I had reduced the screen resolution but when I reduce the size of the test site (fsc45) it reduces correctly and remains covering the full screen.
Everything is pointing to Visual Composer. You can see that the second section in home page is not centered correctly either. Is there any way to re-install safely?

Is there any way to roll back to 4.7?

    Hi @fscbmwcca

The best way to roll back easily is to ask help from your hosting provider.

You can either ask them to roll the site back from a backup before it was upgraded to WP 4.7.1 or just ask them to roll back the WP version without restoring from a backup.

You can also download a copy of WP 4.7, unzip it and upload the files to your server to replace the current WP files.

    Thanks!

    I really don’t want to roll back if I don’t have to…
the issue now appears to be Visual Composer, did you look at all the issues the website is having that listed?

It’s scrolling again, but at least the menu is staying in it’s place.

I tried to reinstall Visual Composer but it looks like something went wrong and the site is now showing just a white page.

Can you please send your FTP credentials?

Also, with the number of issues on the main site, it is best to do the rollback.

Another option is you can copy the site from the /fsc45/ to the live site since you did mention /fsc45/ is working without any issues and both sites’ looks identical.

    Thanks!
