Does anyone know how to customize search page text.

After you type in search term in the search bar you get a page with results, but my problem is that the page language is english.

I want to change the text myself.

Can anyone help me with this?

    Hi @crea-innova

Can you please send over your site’s URL (and your login credentials) so we can check your site’s current setup? Are you running a multi-lingual site?

    Hi @crea-innova

I personally tested it and it does not seem to default to English. It only defaults to English if it was the default language used on the page.

    Here’s the test I did http://www.creainnova.nl/?s=test

    Thanks!

    Hi @crea-innova

I am not quite sure what you mean.

What language do you want to use on the Search Page? English or Dutch? The default language for your site is Dutch, so the search results should show Dutch.

http://www.creainnova.nl/?s=test shows 1 result in English, since this is a dummy post which was written in English by default.

What search term did you use that showed English results? Please specify so we can check it.

    Thanks!

    Hi @crea-innova

    Thanks for elaborating.

You can use translation plugins like Polylang (https://wordpress.org/plugins/polylang-theme-strings/) , Loco Translate (https://wordpress.org/plugins/loco-translate/) and other string translation plugins.

This will help translate strings from the theme to the language you prefer.

    Regards,
