  • Hi,

How can I choose a sidebar to apply to all of my blog posts?

I’m able to choose the sidebar I want for blog index and archive pages in the Theme Options, but I can’t find anything that allows me to choose the same sidebar for all of our posts.

    Thank you!

    Hi,

They should be set to Sidebar 1 as default so will display whatever is in your Sidebar 1 once you have set the page layout within Appearance > Theme Options > General > Page Layout. This will set a sidebar on pages too but you can use the Page Options within each page to override this.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

    Hi Tom, thanks!

In that case I have another question because it seems my BuddyPress pages do not correctly override the Page Options settings and instead always use Sidebar 1. I am going to double check this and post it as a new thread, since it relates more to BuddyPress…

    Hi,

If you navigate to Appearance > Theme Options > Buddypress, you should have options to change the columns.

    Hope that helps.

    Kind regards,
    Tom
