    Hiya, a strange problem I cant seem to work out why.
    My test site is here: http://www.darrylsmith.co.uk
    For the pages under LAWSON DEMOLITION – some of these when viewed in IE – the sidebar animates (slides in) in from the left to right and not on other pages but also only in the LAWSON DEMOLITION part of my site and not others, and not all the pages – any idea on why or how to stop any sidebar animations in all browsers or to fix this?

    All the best…

    OK with testing it seems to be something to do with the height of the browser windows in IE and how much content is going to be displayed in the main content area – if lots of content (a long page) then the sidebar does not animate in place. On short pages the sidebar slides into place unless lots of white space is added or more content – any ideas on how to stop this?

    Hi daz,

    I’m not sure what would be causing that. I’ve tried to replicate in Browserstack on IE10 and can’t seem to replicate the issue either.

    What version of IE is it and what resolution screen are you using?

    Hi, I dont use IE – but had to install it when the client reported the problem as they still do.
    Its I.E 11. (11.0.9600.17905)
    My screens are 1920 x 980
    Here is a screenshot of the sidebar in mid animation from left to right – its at the bottom of the page because i have added white space below the text to try to get rid of the effect but this isnt really a practical solution and is messy – best if it/they just didn’t animate/slide in at all in IE.

    you can just make out the sidebar at the bottom – caught moving left to right here.

    I’m wondering if this helps, edit DynamiX/style.css and change the following CSS

    .isotope,
    .columns {
      -webkit-transition-property: height, width;
         -moz-transition-property: height, width;
          -ms-transition-property: height, width;
           -o-transition-property: height, width;
              transition-property: height, width;
    }

    to

    .isotope {
      -webkit-transition-property: height, width;
         -moz-transition-property: height, width;
          -ms-transition-property: height, width;
           -o-transition-property: height, width;
              transition-property: height, width;
    }

    I believe that has fixed it for me – thank you!
    I will test a little more – thanks again…

    You’re welcome, hopefully that’s sorted it.
