Having quite a few problems with the template. Some of them are brand new, since updating WordPress. http://marvelbooths.co.uk/wordpress/
1) The homepage image is massively off-centre (http://marvelbooths.co.uk/wordpress/)
2) The dropdowns aren’t working. In fact they don’t even appear anymore.
3) Both issues are present on mobile also.
4) Search doesn’t work.
Losing business while this is going on… please respond ASAP.May 25, 2016 at 12:39 pm #89254
What version of the theme and Visual Composer are you currently using? The older version of the theme and Visual Composer are not compatible with WP 4.5.
Kindly update the theme and once updated, delete Visual Composer and reinstall it via Appearance > Theme Options > Install Plugin

“ePix is Up-to-date!
You’re using the latest version of 2.1.3”
I haven’t updated the theme, it says it’s already up to date.
As for Visual Composer, I have version 4.7.4. Is this up to date? And if now, how do I re-update it? Not very comfortable doing this, something is going to go wrong…May 26, 2016 at 7:08 am #89273
The latest version of the theme is Epix 2.3 while for the Visual Composer, it’s 4.11.2
Can you send over your login credentials so we can check further on this?

As I checked, you are indeed using an outdated version of the theme and Visual composer.
Please update the theme to the latest version, ePix 2.3. The new theme version also contains the updated version of Visual Composer, version 4.11.2.
The best option to update the theme is by using the Envato Plugin https://github.com/envato/envato-wordpress-toolkit/archive/master.zip or you can update it via FTP. Here’s a guide: http://themeva.com/docs/epix/theme-installation-updating/

Updated the site and then visual composer, both worked. Looks good on desktop again.
Unfortunately, all of the issues on the mobile site are still there. Have cleared cache and deleted cookies, no change. Issues are the main image on the homepage being way off, and the dropdowns on the menu/nav bar not working.

I checked your site on mobile and it’s working fine – the drop down, search and info menu are all working.
Can you check again? Send us a screenshot if still not working.

Yes the menu is definitely not working. It’s the dropdowns more specifically, you click the button to drop down and it just goes to the header option without dropping down.
Also the main image on the homepage is massively zoomed in.June 1, 2016 at 2:48 pm #89423
For the submenu issue, you can please try to disable all your plugins, leaving just Visual Composer enabled and check if the submenus now work?
For the image, it actually autofilled the area based on the height of the container. We can change this to show your full image but this will require a few customization on CSS. Do you want this done?
Thanks!June 2, 2016 at 8:48 pm #89456
Just tried that regarding the menu, didn’t make any difference at all unfortunately, so I’ve re-enabled them.
And yes please, I really need to get this working ASAP.

I have found the issue with the menu. The submenus do not work because you actually have the main menu item as a link instead of just an anchor.
If you will check now, Services should now work on mobile devices.
Check out the menus to see how I fixed the issue:
Go to ‘Services’ to see that I changed the URL to # instead of the link (http://marvelbooths.co.uk/wordpress/dance-floors/). This way, the dropdown will now work because clicking on it will not redirect you to another page. Please do the same for ‘Portfolio’.
Thanks!June 6, 2016 at 10:13 pm #89572
Thanks, that fixes the menu issue.
However the homepage image is still massively zoomed in, so that still needs fixing?

Homepage is worse now… off on both desktop and mobile:June 7, 2016 at 3:45 pm #89588
I have made the needed changes. Can you please check if it looks better now?
