I have uploaded XML Flip book with all its' folders to my server, but when I try to open up the swf on my website, the loader starts and the words "XML Loading" appear, but it never opens up. I have tested the path to the swf in my browser and it opens up just fine. I have no idea what is going on, but can only assume that something must be wrong with the swf path. I have tried using Dynamix's shortcode generator, tried doing it hrough the Dynamix Stage Gallery, Kimilli flash embed plugin etc etc. Pleeeeeze help!!!

    Hi Ilana,

Can you post a link to the page this is happening on and I'll see if I can spot what is going on.

    Hi Andy,

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly, much appreciated. The site isn't published, but here is the page link. If you scroll down a bit, you will see the flipbook trying to load. What I noticed was that it says, "loading XML", but on the link below, you will notice it says "loading programs". The latter is the change I made to the message in the XML setup folder. With my limited knowledge, I therefore am assuming that the wrong file is being accessed.

This is the actual path to the flipbook that I am using that works fine when I put it in the browser,

    "http://weight-winners.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/XML Flipbook/weightwinners.swf"

    Waiting in anticipation,

    Best wishes, Ilana

Sorry, something weird happened with the way the links are displaying.

    Here goes again:

PS. Just noticed a space between XML and Flipbook, is this a problem?

OK. So I corrected the space, but no change. Use the links below.

    Hi Ilana,

I'm not sure if it's going to work – the flash file is looking for a setup.xml file?

    Hi Andy,

evidentlly the path should look like this,  http://weight-winners.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/WWFlipbook/index.html,

not like this,  http://weight-winners.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/WWFlipbook/preview.swf (or weightwinners.swf)

The question is, how do I put this html file, instead of a swf file in my website? Sorry, a bit clueless……

The only thing I can think of is using an iframe? See the following example – change the src to the index.html url you have above.
