I totally missed that information.
It is possible that it is incompatiblity issues because the prior version that you were using was too updated.
I think the best option would be to rebuiuld the pages/sidebar that has issues. Also, choosing another font is the best option.
Lastly, there is a huge update for the theme that will be released in the coming weeks, and the elements/styles you have used on your prior version may not be compatible with it, so updating/rebuilding the pages is the best option.
Hello — I have reverted back to the http://librarytest2.automationdirect.com site.
I removed the sidebar but still having issues in Mac Chrome browser. There is an “X” in the upper left corner that I think is causing the issue of moving the banner down the page. Looks fine in all other browsers but need to get this issue fixed please.
Can you please send over screenshots of the issue? I do not have a Macbook or an iMac so I can’t particularly test and see the issue from my end.
You can find the screenshot at https://www.dropbox.com/s/r74q67zcv9cpexq/mac-chrome-screen.png?dl=0
I notice on other browsers, the header is blue (I think I may have customized this in the past but it can be taken out). I attempted to change the header color via the theme customizer and does not change no matter what color I use so this may be part of the issue.
I also notice in the Chrome browser on the mac there is no padding or anything on the page and the div’s do not float as the text does not go to the right of the thumbnail photos.
I really need this fixed. I attempted to start from scratch with fresh WP files and theme and it would be way too much work after pulling all of the pages and posts in.
Please help. Thank you
My apologies for the slight mix-up. I have setup the host file before but did not noticed all my host entries were removed.
I am now reviewing this and I will get back to you once I have figured out the issue.
Has this been tested on multiple Mac/Chrome? I do not have a Mac in hand so I used browserstack.com and simulated the site on a Virtual Machine running Chrom 59 and the site is loading without any issues. Here is the screenshot: https://prnt.sc/gauu7s
Have you tried to reinstall your Chrome or upgrade it maybe?
Thank you for your continued help on this. Looks like it is working on the mac systems now.
I have a few more questions…
1 – On the home page at http://librarytest2.automationdirect.com the blue bar in the header is in a block format and does not spread across the page. Can you help with getting it to spread to the edges? (Attached screenshot)
2 – Is there a way to highlight or make the “Shop Now” link in the navigation a button? Also, on the previous theme there was a divider line beside the sidebar on pages. Can we do this? (Attached screenshot).
3 – On the previous template, we had social media icons at the top of the posts where we could share a post. How I can I do this on the current posts?

Thank you for your time.
Did you only whitelist the particular IP we sent before? I am currently travelling and will not be back only in 4 days, and I am getting and error 403 when accessing the site (with host entries entered).
Would you be able to remove the block for any IP address temporarily so we can check on the issue, or you’d prefer to keep it and just wait until I am back?
Hello — I wanted to follow up to let you know we are moving the site to another server to update the PHP version. Please do not make any changes until I confirm when this has been complete, OR… if you can inform me of what I need to do to make the requested changes it would be appreciated.
Thank you for your time.
