after finalizing some pages, I updated worpress to 3.4. The menu on my website are not showing anymore nor does the post gallery, and shortcode works. All my work is still there on wordpress but on the website, the menu is blank and when going each page manually, the post gallery and shortcode stop working.
yes and there are also problems with the page layouts when you go to edit page or post, all the page / post options are below the content area and you can’t move them. Other plugins and their page layouts are also messed up and I can’t access all options. When I deactivated Dynamic X and activated another theme, everything started working just fine.
I usually wait a few weeks to to WP upgrades — wish I had waited 🙁
I’m not sure what has happened here but the demo site is working fine with WP 3.4 – http://dynamix.creativeworkz.co.uk. With regards to menu – make sure it’s selected in Appearance -> Menus.
I re-installed WordPress 3.4, Dynamix didn’t function properly with the issues mentioned above.
I deactivated the Dynamix theme , re-installed it and still with the same problems. Also some plugins stopped working with your theme. I tried other themes like Twenty Eleven and Twenty Ten By the WordPress team, the worked fine.
My problems remain the same — the post / page layout where all page /post options are below text editor and cannot be moved.
layout in dashboard for other plugins are now unworkable. Example Formidable Forms. All the plugin options do not even show. As Geudi mentioned, when I deactivate Dynamix X and reactivate another theme, all these problems disappear and the WP dashboard and all plugins works normally.
There are issues with 3.4 and Dynamix X within the dashboard and it makes it impossible to work within the dashboard.
Spent the last two weeks customizing Dynamix X but if these issues are not corrected, I will have to start over with another theme.
Hoping for some help before informing client we must use a different theme 🙁
good news! I found the issue on my site with my site and the problems on dashboard. I deactivated all plugins and things were fine so I reactivated one by one and found what was the causing the issue for me was Google Libraries plugin. So there is something with WP 3.4 , Google Libraries plugin in combination with Dynamic X that messes us the WP dashboard and causes issues for other plugin admin panels in WP.
I don’t have a clue — WP 3.4 + Google Libraries + Twenty Eleven and Twenty Ten + all the plugins I had installed and there were no issues. It was adding Dynamic X + Google Libraries + WP3.4 that caused the problem.
