    Hi, I am in the process of installing and troubleshooting the DynamiX theme. After I got everything fixed with my support staff, we are still seeing the following error message on our logs. I am using a virtual dedicated server for this site and have root access and access to the error logs.

    [client xx.xx.xx.xxx] PHP Warning:  strtotime(): It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/New_York' for 'EDT/-4.0/DST' instead in /var/www/vhosts/domainname.com/httpdocs/wp-content/themes/DynamiX/lib/scripts/timthumb.php on line 530, referer: http://domainname.com/page

    I looked it up and found a solution:

    Add the timezone to the timthumb.php file located in

    // Set timezone

    This is what fixed that error for me, so now I can sleep well. @Andy, you should include an update in the future to work this issue out for future releases. Keep up the good work.

    Hi Adrian,

    Thanks for posting this – it's the first time someone has had this issue.
