I built reveals on this page http://wangjingwei.org/his-ideas-cn/poetry/ before the last updates and they work. However the ones on this page http://wangjingwei.org/poetry-2/ which I built today don’t work (please see the first accordion only, other accordions are from the other page). Can you please tell me what’s wrong help me out?December 15, 2015 at 9:28 pm #86067This reply has been marked as private.December 16, 2015 at 4:45 am #86076
Also, the third footer widget content has dropped down, any idea why and how I can fix this?
Thanks.December 16, 2015 at 6:58 pm #86086
I’m not sure what you mean by it “not working”, both pages seem to function the same. I’ve resolves the footer issue.December 16, 2015 at 8:19 pm #86095
Andy, if you look at the first accordion, you will see that what is supposed to be revealed and toggled doesn’t show up at all. All one can see is a dot. You can see better if you go into the editor and you’ll see that reveal is not revealing in the first accordion. As I said in the message, what I created before the update still works, just not since the update. That’s what I mean by not working.
Thanks.December 18, 2015 at 9:43 am #86102
The best method would be to add the FAQ element within the accordion section instead of placing within a text block.
I’ve created an example here for you. http://wangjingwei.org/poetry-2/
If you add in each “reveal” as a FAQ element, it will function much better.
I hope that helps?December 22, 2015 at 2:50 pm #86174
Thanks for this, same issue on http://wangjingwei.org/about-en/trust-founder-ho-mang-hang/. If you click on the tab Questions and Answers you’ll see that all the FAQs are built using the FAQ element reveal as you suggest. Is there any reason why the answer to the first question is not revealed (it is there if you check the editor)? Everything was working fine until the latest update. I have many pages using this element and I am ready to launch the site any day now, I need to have this resolved though.

I meant not to use the reveal at all. Just accordion and FAQ’s. Reveal and FAQ’s are practically the same and it will cause issues like this.December 24, 2015 at 2:10 pm #86196
Thanks, I get that. But on http://wangjingwei.org/about-en/trust-founder-ho-mang-hang/ under the Questions and Answers tab all the FAQs are built using the FAQ element, but if you click on the first question the answer is not shown even though it is there if you look in the editor. Is having FAQ inside tab the problem then?December 28, 2015 at 9:14 am #86215
I think when you copied the text, it copied some of the HTML too. Hence why I thought you were using reveal within the FAQ. I’ve removed the HTML for the reveal and it now works.December 28, 2015 at 2:10 pm #86225
Great, thank you so much!
