Hi I’ve just started with a new Dynamix5 weibsite in german.

As the codestyling localization plugin is not available I use the Loco translate plugin.
    Unfortunately the translation doesn’t work.

    Kind regards
    Bruno

    Hi,

The Dynamix theme is most compatible with WMPL, so it is best to use it. Can you please try it and see if it works?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

Are you talking about “WPML Widgets”?

I just need a few words translated like: “Select a Page”

    Thanks!

    Hi @webdesignbb

I am referring to this plugin https://wpml.org/

Other options are qTranslate plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/qtranslate-x/ and GTranslate plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/gtranslate/

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    2nd request.

I’m creating a German website. Dynamix5 doesn’t change the comment language. The .po and .mo files are set but some how it doesn’t work.
(Plugin the well known Loco translate)

    Thanks again

My apology but we can’t seem to visualize the issue because we can’t see it on your site. Can you send over a screenshot so we can check further on this?

    Regards,

    additional hint?
    Hi,

Do you have a “themeva-default.pot” file I only saw the .mo and .po.
Loco translate suggest the theme providers to add the POT file. My be that would resolve the missing translation.
    Thanks!

    Hi,

We do not have that file for the theme.

For the screenshot, you actually sent the local link. Can you please update all of them using http://tinypic.com?

    Thanks!

    Hi,

We have checked and indeed, even if we manually translate ‘Select a Page’ the translation do not appear on the site.

Can you please try to use other translation plugins we mentioned so we can check if they work better compared to Loco Translate?

    Thanks!

    Hi,
Sorry I Can’t follow. Why do you suggest WPML plugins? I work on a German language website.

However I tried GTranslate nothing happened.

I bought Dynamix5 multi language thinking it works in German, but that seems to be wrong isn’t it?

    Thanks!
