I have recently updated to the recent update released for Dynamix, but I am unable to update the Visual composer any idea as how can I resolve this. I have tried to deactivate the plugin and then remove it completely then Go to Themes -> Install plugins but the problem does not seem to resolve.

I deleted then updated the plugin just fine. I am not sure what issue you are having with it? There is no need to unzip any files?
To update VC correctly, go to Plugins > Deactivate VC > Delete it > Admin notice at the top of the WP Admin, click install Visual Composer > You should now have the latest version.
