    It only seems to be a problem in my Chrome browser. In explorer I just got problems with fonts and the searchbar

    Hi,

    It all sounds like browser cache. Please clear your browser cache ( and any plugin cache ) for each browser and it should be fine.

    I have cleared everything but still have problems. now also in Explorer
    and on tablets and phones. Both android and IOS.

    I can only see menu and header. On phones the menu is hidden behind the search bar.
    BIG problems
    regards

    Hi nj,

    It sounds like a mix of things. It should behave like this in mobile: http://acoda.com/dynamix ( resize the window ). Ensure you’re using the floating menu in Appearance > Theme Options > Header.

    Also, are you using a child theme? If so, have you modified the header.php or footer.php?

    If you post your WP login details and a preference of time you would like me to test things, I’ll see what’s going on. State your local time too so I know when to make changes.

    Hi there. I just updated http://arts-festival.com/ and it sounds like I’m having the same problem. We are not using a child theme. We have some minor .php file changes, but I made them all correctly. The main pages of the site don’t render in Chrome, IE, or on mobile. Interestingly, though, the blog pages seem to work. See http://arts-festival.com/blog and http://arts-festival.com/2015/07/Andy-Cohen-and-Me.

    PS – Yes, I cleared the cache. It didn’t help.

    Good news, bad news. It occurred to me to delete and reinstall VC since the problem was only on pages. That brought the content back, but unfortunately now the formatting is messed up. The immediate problems on http://arts-festival.com/ are that the vertical spacing after headings and between paragraphs is gone, and the buttons are no longer a standard, consistent size. Also on this page the 3/4-1/4 columns in the top section sometimes render properly and sometimes don’t when the page is refreshed. I have cleared the cache so that’s not the issue.

    This site has hundreds of pages. How can we fix the vertical spacing and button issues globally so no one has to go in and update the pages manually?

    We may have other formatting problems as well, but I need to take a break from this.

    Thanks, Andy.

    Hi,

    This is due to a bit of CSS that VC introduced. It’s great if you’re starting the page from scratch, but for older pages, it causing some issues.

    To overcome those specific issues, including the button – add this to Appearance > Theme Options > Customize > Custom CSS:

    .wpb_text_column p:last-child {margin-bottom:20px;}
    .wpb_text_column h4:last-child {margin-bottom:0.3em;}

    .button-wrap a {
        display: block;
    }

    Let me know if you have any others and I’ll happily help you iron them out.

    Thanks, Andy. I inserted the code and cleared the cache, but the problems aren’t fixed in either Chrome or IE. Let me give it a bit of time and see if it will resolve itself. I’ll check back in shortly with an update.

    It’s still not fixed, Andy. Other thoughts?

    Hi Courtney, try this instead:

    #primary-wrapper .wpb_text_column p:last-child {margin-bottom:20px;}
    #primary-wrapper .wpb_text_column h4:last-child {margin-bottom:0.3em;}

    #primary-wrapper .button-wrap a {
        display: block;
    }

    Hi Andy. That fixed the button issue but the vertical spacing is still wonky – too much in some spots (like the footer) and too little in others. Thoughts?
