Love concept of the child theme.

Dreaded updating to the next version and having to go through all my css and graphic modifications again and again.

Not sure I'm using the child theme correctly though.

I've installed the main Dynamix theme (2.8.2) and the child theme (1.0) If I activate the main theme the site appears to function normal (although I have yet to update all the css and graphics). If I activate the child theme I've lost all my page references across the top of the site. Should the child theme be activated instead of the main theme?

If you want to have a hassle-free DynamiX upgrade in the future you have to activate (and use) the child theme. Lost you page references? You mean your menu isn't working correctly? Did you reconfigure your main navigation menu setting after activating the Child-Theme already? -> Appearance -> Menues -> Top left: "Theme Locations" -> "Main Navigation" drop down field.

    Great. Thanks.

I should really have spotted that other people have had the same problem, including yourself I think.

Should've searched first, slap my wrist!
