I also tried some other kinds of extensions.

    Follow example:

Error – X.svg – Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.
Error – X.eps – Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.
Error – X.ai – Sorry, this file type is not permitted for security reasons.

    Hi,

Do you want to just link to those files or use them as a logo?

If it’s as a logo, unfortunately you can’t use those formats on the web. .svg is the only format, however it can’t be uploaded to the media library and has to be embedded in a specific way.

If they’re just to link to, please use the full path to link to them e.g. http://yoursite.com/wp-content/uploads/X.ai

See this guide on the different methods of using an SVG. http://www.sitepoint.com/add-svg-to-web-page/ – you can use the img tag, however it will not work with browsers IE8 or less.
