Updated to v2.9 and site now broken – it has lost all top-menu formatting which now appears as a drop-down vertical on the left of the main page hidden behind other objects. I am using a child theme (as supplied) but with no top-menu css changes.
Is this a known problem? Is the answer just to switch back to earlier version of DynamiX?
I was previously (and have returned to) version 2.8.6
The restoration to 2.8.6 cured the menu issue completely – all styling and functionality restored. Strange if you have had no previous problems. I did a manual up-grade using Filezilla to FTP the new files. I am using a child theme as supplied with 2.8.6 and with a minor amount of css adjustments.
I had the same issue on my website when I upgraded to v2.9. I’m using CloudFlare so as Andy states it might be a caching issue. So I set my Caching Level to “basic” in CloudFlare. Mine was set to Agressive.
CloudFlare Settings> Perferomance Settings> Caching Level = Basic
Also this might help if you try this:
CloudFlare Settings> Settings Overview> Cache Purge = click on the Purge Cache button
It took probably 30-60 minutes for the change to come through, then everything worked fine after that.
