    Hi there,

    I have a video as the background on our homepage. It’s not working responsively though and is creating padding around the sides. I have custom css in there that says:

    .videowrap {
    position: relative;
    width: 100%;
    height: 110%;
    }

    But I can’t seem to get it to work correctly.

    Any help?

    Thanks,
    Nikki

    Hi @nschell05

    Can you please send over your site’s URL and login credentials so we could check this personally from our end?

    Hi @nschell05

    While the page looks full-width, it is actually just stretched and the containers aren’t full-width.

    This is why the video is following the width of the container. Edit the page and scroll down and go to the “Layout” tab and set the page to “Full Width”.

    Once done, add this CSS:

    .player .vp-player-layout {
        width: 100% !important;
        left: 0px !important;
    }

    Hi there,

    This did not fix the problem.

    Please advise!

    Hi @nschell05

    It looks like the CSS we applied will not override the styles from Vimeo itself.

    Can you please try to use a self-hosted video URL instead of Vimeo/Youtube. Absolute links to self-hosted videos works better in going fullscreen compared to Vimeo/Youtube for now.

    If you want to test and see, try to use http://testarea.acoda.com/you/wp-content/uploads/sites/2/revslider/clean1/Broadway.mp4 as the Video URL and you should see that it will go fullwidth without any issues as there are no CSS messing it up.

    Regards,s
