I just updated my site http://www.screenwritingspark.com to wordpress 4.5 and now I’m unable to view my posts in the visual editor. Nothing loads beyond the basic page. Editor is blank unless I switch to HTML view. I’m also unable to build new pages.

As an added bonus, I’m unable to update my theme as well.

Anxious for a solution as I run multiple sites with this theme and cannot move forward with updates without risking breaking them.

Not sure what I’m missing. On my plugin page it says Visual Composer is running v4.5.1…

I’m reluctant to upload the link Andy provided on account of I’m totally lost here…

@athleticnerd as long as your hosting permits the upload size, you can goto Wp Admin > Plugins > Remove the Current version of Visual Composer > Once that’s done, goto Plugins > Add New and upload the .zip file provided here: http://acoda.com/tmp/js_composer.zip

Alternatively you can download the zip file, unzip it and upload the js_composer folder to your server /wp-content/plugins/ – replacing the existing js_composer folder.

Thanks for the help and forgive my hesitation. Broken websites are terrifying. Having said that, I’ve updated both my Dynamix powered sites and we’re back up and running. Thanks again.

I’m glad it’s all okay now Jason.
