    Good morning!
Have some problem with my translated pages… i.e. when translating a page, updating & previewing I get the translated page with the correct title, the right media but the text shows up in the original language.
WPML has upgraded 2 days back with a beta version … could it be that some incompatibility has arisen with the theme?
For info, I posted a thread with their support forum as well.
Thanks in advance for your help,
    Greetings,
    Michèle.

    Hi Michèle,

I recommend not updating to the latest version yet as it has not been tested. I do not recommend running a beta plugin on your site as it mean it has not been fully tested so there might be issues with it. If you can, try getting back to the previous version to be safe.

There should be no issues with the previous version.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

    Thanks Tom.
Actually I was on their previous version & their support advised to install the beta …
then they closed the topic as if resolved 🙁
    I’ll fish the back-up version & re-install it.
    Thanks for your help,
    Greetings,
    Michèle.

    Good afternoon!
As it might be useful to other users : Tthe latest feedback on this as I just received an answer from WPML support team.

WPML is not compatible with Visual Composer.

If ePix Team has any ‘weight’ with either VC or WPML development teams to change this … would really appreciate it!
    Greetings,
    Michèle.

    Hi Michèle,

I’m 100% convinced this issue will be resolved between the two plugins ASAP. I’m in talks with the Visual Composer guys quite regularly, I’ll send them an email shortly.

    Good morning!

ooopsss… WPML is now reverting asking me access & all passwords (including FTP) to the site so as to solution the issue between WPML & VC.
Not an IT specialist but have some very bad experiences and hence, not so keen on giving this access.
Do you have any solution to give a kind of ‘clone’ but without all the sensitive data?
Thanks in advance for the help.
    Greetings,
    Michèle.

    Hi,

If you cloned your site and put it on a sub folder for example, you could give them access to that. If you are unsure, I recommend asking your hosting company.
