    Hi Simone,

    Please can you provide me with a little more information? How are the images added in? Are they through WooCommerce or Visual Composer?

    Do you have a link to the page so I can take a further look? It looks like this may be a customization if it is not a theme option.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

    Hi Simone,

    As this is a WooCommerce option and not a theme option, you will need to check their documentation. Please take a look here as this should help you.

    http://docs.woothemes.com/document/change-number-of-thumbnails-per-row-in-product-galleries/

    Hope this helps.

    Hi Simone,

    I have tried adding this to the ePix theme and the standard WordPress theme with no luck, I recommend contacting WooCommerce directly for the correct answer for this.

    For reference, I added this to the functions.php file of the themes.

    Sorry about that.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

    functions.php inside the Main theme or inside the Child-theme?

    You said that the thumbnail is related to woocommerce but that is not true because I when inside woocommerce plugin and I change the file called product-thumbnails.php Line 21

    was: $columns = apply_filters( ‘woocommerce_product_thumbnails_columns’, 3 );
    change to: $columns = apply_filters( ‘woocommerce_product_thumbnails_columns’, 8 );

    But nothing has been changed.

    This means that your theme override the thumbnail number so it’s not related to woocommerce the fact that the code add_filter ( ‘woocommerce_product_thumbnails_columns’, ‘xx_thumb_cols’ );
    function xx_thumb_cols() {
    return 4; // .last class applied to every 4th thumbnail
    }

    added in a child theme is not working.

    I look forward to your reply.

    Hi Simone,

    My apologies for the delay, I’m currently away from my usual desk and I can’t respond as quickly.

    The following code will work in the functions.php ( child theme too ).

    add_filter ( 'woocommerce_product_thumbnails_columns', 'xx_thumb_cols' );
    function xx_thumb_cols() {
    return 4; // .last class applied to every 4th thumbnail
    }

    However, you’ll also need to add some CSS to assist this ( woocommerce doesn’t cater for the change of columns, you need to add extra CSS depending on how many columns you select ).

    Add the following to the custom CSS field or the child theme style.css

    .woocommerce #content div.product div.thumbnails a {
    width:22% !important;
    }
