Working with your site measurements 1366 x 904, we are looking to create a jpeg that bleeds off of all 4 sides of the site. (See attached file, the blue line in the jpeg indicates where the transparent panel sits) When we import in this jpeg it does not get placed in proportionally, instead the proprotions/layout changes. We do not want this to happen. Please tell us how we can fix this.

We actually love the ghosted area under the nav bar, and like the zoom effect, but can’t get the dimensions quite right.
    Appreciate your help in this.

Thank you, but but what I really need to know is what dimension to upload images so that the image is not distorted (mostly expanded) Images appear in an additional ‘zoom’mode before the actual zoom action??.When I ‘inspect element’ and find the slider screen measurement of the ‘full width slider’, then upload an image with those measurements (1439 x 893) it doesn’t fit!

    Hi,

It’s not so much the resolution but the ratio – most screens are 16:9 and therefore you image ratio should mirror that. Browser width and screen resolutions vary an enormous amount. It’s best to have the images in excess of 2000px e.g. 2000×1125
