    Hello 🙂

    I keep seeing this message

Hola! Please activate your copy of Visual Composer to receive automatic updates.

I try and update, then I get the below message

Invalid liense key. Please check information in your envato profile.
(i’ve check my licence key number and it is right as far as I can tell)

    Any ideas?
    thanks
    Kirsten

    Hi Kirsten,

There is no need to buy Visual Composer as it is bundled with the theme.

It sounds like you need to update to the latest version of the theme, then you will be able to update to the latest version of Visual Composer.

For more information on updating the theme, please see here.

Once updated, you can update VC by go to Plugins > Deactivate VC > Delete it > Appearance, Install Plugins, click install Visual Composer > You should now have the latest version.

Then reset your browser cache and websites cache (if you have a cache plugin installed).

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Tom

    Thanks Tom
I can’t claim to understand the instructions lol but I’ll try 🙂

I’ve already got the Envato WordPress Toolkit installed
This is the version I’m running at the mo – installed ePix 1.2 by themeva

should I just ignore the messages?

    Thanks Kirsten

    Hi Kirsten,

If you are on the latest version of ePix, which is 1.2, you can just update Visual Composer like this.

Once updated, you can update VC by go to Plugins > Deactivate VC > Delete it > Appearance, Install Plugins, click install Visual Composer > You should now have the latest version.

Then reset your browser cache and websites cache (if you have a cache plugin installed).

If you are still having issues, please set your reply to private and provide your URL/login details so I can take a further look for you.

    Hope this helps.

    Kind regards,
    Tom
