I have a blog post that was always on top of the page because I configured it.
I don’t know why reason now appears in chronological order.
I have tried with all the options of “Post Sticky Status”: “Announcement” and “Stiky” and now it doesn’t work.
Can you tell me how I can fix it?

Can you please send over your WP login credentials so we can check on this further from our end?

Yes, I am from the Philippines but I am currently in Taiwan for the next 5 days. IF you can grant permission from this country, that would be better.

Just to confirm you are using a plugin to set the “Sticky” post, correct?
If yes, this is probably an issue with the plugin. Try to switch to another theme to check if the “sticky” will work with it. If it still doesn’t, this confirms the issue with the plugin.

I’m sorry, but I don’t understand you.
I think I’m not using any plugin to sticky this post (but I’m not really sure).
It’s simply the template “Blog” of ePix where all entries appear.
In each entry there is an option to sticky a certain entry. And this doesn’t work. I don’t know why. This has suddenly appeared. It didn’t happen before. That post http://jbrunetfoto.net/kissmeunpocomas/? was always on top.
If I test with another template, I can’t see anything on the Blog page and I can’t check if the issue persists or not.
You have my credentials and you can do all the tests you want. Better than me. I just don’t understand what I have to do.
On the other hand, if I add widgets on the right sidebars an empty and ugly white space appears on the right of those sidebars.
By the way the widgets don’t appear on mobile or tablet.
I await your response and apologize for the inconvenience.

Having ‘sticky posts’ is a not a feature of the theme. When I checked your list of plugins, you are using a plugin called “WP-Sticky” which basically adds the ‘sticky posts’ feature.
I think the issue here is that the plugin does not work well with the Blog Page Template.
I have created a test page here http://jbrunetfoto.net/test-page/ . This page is not using any template. It is currently blank but if you set it as the Blog page here http://jbrunetfoto.net/wp-admin/options-reading.php you will see that the sticky post will work.
The best option would be to remove the page template you set for http://jbrunetfoto.net/blog/?lang=es

If the cause of the issue is that plugin (“WP” Sticky) I have now disabled it. But the issue persists. Therefore the cause should not be in this plugin.
On the other hand, if my theme is ePix, I don’t understand what you propose to use another template for my blog. I don’t know how I could do this. Besides, it would not be aesthetically good. I use the ePix template. It’s a WordPress template and therefore should be fully functional too (or very especially) as a page of WordPress entries.
On the other hand I see that after you have entered has disappeared an icon “i” (info about me) at the top of the menu (right next to the icon of the flag).
Please continue to investigate because I don’t understand what you are telling me.

Hi, I followed your advice that you indicate me in http://jbrunetfoto.net/wp-admin/options-reading.php
Is it possible to put widgets above this page on top of the blog page? This is because on mobile devices, de right sidebar widgets is not seeing.
If it’s no possible, how can I use other template (other theme) only in this blog page?
Apologize for the inconvenience.

You can add the widgetised sidebar element to the page via Visual Composer.
Can you please try it and see if that will do for you?
Thanks!January 11, 2017 at 10:48 am #95375
No. I can’t add anything on that page with Visual Composer if I have this setting: http://jbrunetfoto.net/wp-admin/options-reading.php
This issue is a kind of loop.

I do see that issue now when I tested it personally.
Going back to your issue with the sidebar not appearing on mobile devices, can you please send us screenshots of the issue so we can try to troubleshoot that instead?
