Could you please check the display on mobile because the logo is taking one third of mobile screen, could you please reduce its size on mobile screens. I want the logo to have the same proportion as the one on http://www.allobebe.fr on mobile.
Many thanksMarch 24, 2018 at 3:08 pm #102678March 24, 2018 at 4:58 pm #102681
My website is picsmyhone.com.
I quoted allobebe.fr as an exemple of good logo size on a mobile website.
Could you please tell me how to have a logo on mobile which does not take a great part of a mobile screen ?

As I checked, you are using an image with a lot of extra space already in the top and bottom of the logo. The best first step edit your image and crop out the empty area.

I am not satisfied with your answer.
Did you compare my website picsmyhome.com with a site like allobebe.fr ?
I do not want to decrease the size of my logo on computers. Cropping is not a solution.
The logo size on computer is correct it must remain the same but the logo size on smartphone is too big (nearly half of the screen) . Please share a step by step solution to reduce the logo size on mobile only.
Again my request concerns the display on smartphone onlyMarch 27, 2018 at 3:01 pm #102700
Actually, the site you are comparing to will actually explain what’s happening better.
If you check, here is the logo being used on the other site: https://www.allobebe.fr/img/logo_allobebe.svg
If you check, the logo is tightly cropped with no extra white spaces.
Here is your logo on the other hand: https://www.picsmyhome.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/picsmyhomefinal.jpg
It has a lot of empty space at the top and bottom and that is expanding the logo container on mobile. While it can decreased by CSS, the most efficient way is to resize it to a smaller dimension then crop out the extra spaces.
With the state’s current logo, you are actually wasting server resources loading a really large image on a very small container.

Hi i followed your recommandation and I had the results I expected which is not satisfying :
The logo size has decreased on computers (this was not my goal and I stressed it in my requests) and the logo on smartphone is still very large for mobile.
Could you please look at my website http://www.picsmyhome.com on mobile and provide a step buy step to have a logo which is not taking 25% of the screen ?
I need my logo on picmyhome.com to have the same measure as the one on allobebe.fr on smartphone.
ThanksMarch 29, 2018 at 2:29 pm #102723
I checked and your site’s logo is still very large https://www.picsmyhome.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/06/picsmyhomefinal.jpg
Can you please give us permission to do the changes from our end?

It looks like you have sorted this out as the logo on the site now this:
I added margin to the logo on desktop to give it separation from the menu then decreased the spacing on mobile.
Can you please clear your browser cache and check if it’s better now? If you are still not satisfied, please send a mockup on how you want the logo to look on mobile and desktop.

It is not good because the logo is blurred !
Could you please fix the logo issue before we tackle the other issues regarding display on smartphones ?
