I have been experiencing several problems with your theme.
I have asked for feedback in different forums and everybody gives the same feedback.
When viewed on iPhone, MAC or Android mobiles and tablets, there is a half screen height fap above the first header “Professional Photographer in Santorini and Greece.” And then a full screen of blank space under it. Please check. It works fine on windows.February 1, 2015 at 4:58 pm #61235
An example.February 2, 2015 at 2:19 pm #61256
It looks like the “Transition Tween” setting on the Gallery is the problem. Please try changing it to something else and let me know which one you were using and I’ll investigate.February 2, 2015 at 11:07 pm #61312
How can I change that? Shall I give you my credentials?February 3, 2015 at 3:25 pm #61344
It’s in Page > Add Gallery > Transition Tween. If you can’t find it, please post your WP login details and I’ll take a look for you.February 3, 2015 at 7:05 pm #61378This reply has been marked as private.February 4, 2015 at 5:11 pm #61435
I thought it was an issue with the theme but it turns out there is files missing from your wordpress install. Example:
This file is required for the animation:
http://www.studiokristo.com/wp-includes/js/jquery/ui/jquery.ui.core.min.js – however it’s missing, if you check the ePix demo site, it exists.
I suggest re-installing WordPress and see if that resolves it.February 4, 2015 at 8:50 pm #61450
Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I have re-installed the theme. The problem remains. Also, I have downloaded the latest version of wordpress. There is no such a file in the installation folder!! Please check as soon as possible. Thank you.February 5, 2015 at 3:19 pm #61482
It looks like WordPress has a bug and has left it out, it should definitely be in the wordpress folder – see here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_register_script, search for jquery.ui.core.min.js
It’s in their core update function too, however they’ve forgot to include the file.
Please copy and paste the contents of this file http://epix.themeva.com/wp-includes/js/jquery/ui/jquery.ui.core.min.js into a text file and name it:
jquery.ui.core.min.js – then place into the http://www.studiokristo.com/wp-includes/js/jquery/ui/ folder, it should work then.
The only thing I can think of that won’t make that work is that they’re missing more files.February 5, 2015 at 3:40 pm #61485
I did it and the display problem remains in all android devices. I have tested it on both android tablet and mobile devices. I am very disappointed with what is happening.February 5, 2015 at 4:00 pm #61491
I can assure you it’s not the theme. If the epix.themeva.com site was acting the same, I could understand your disappointment.
Your site is still generating the same errors:
[Error] Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) (jquery.ui.effect.min.js, line 0)
[Error] Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found) (waypoints.min.js, line 0)
If you post your FTP details, I’ll be happy to sort this for you.February 5, 2015 at 4:04 pm #61495This reply has been marked as private.February 5, 2015 at 4:32 pm #61501
Ok, that seems to be okay for me now. It appears that W3 Total Cache ( despite being disabled ) was still caching an old version of the site too, which wasn’t helping. Can you confirm it’s working for you now too?February 5, 2015 at 4:36 pm #61503
Thank you so much. Everything works fine now. You are right that it was not the theme’s fault. 🙂
